Our Story

Hey, I’m Jenni

…the founder and creative behind Cherry on Pop.

I’ve always been drawn to celebrations. The kind where every detail feels thought through and the atmosphere actually means something. Long before Cherry on Pop existed, I was the one obsessing over colour palettes, layouts, and how a space feels when people walk into it.

My background is in retail management and social media content creation, which is where my eye for styling, balance, and visual storytelling really developed. Somewhere along the way, balloons became my medium, and what started as over-the-top birthday parties quickly turned into a full styling business.

Cherry on Pop grew because people kept asking me to do it again, bigger, bolder, and better. Eventually, it became the thing I poured everything into.

  • Creating events that feel unmistakably you

  • Styling balloon installations and spaces with balance, scale, and impact

  • Designing setups that work in real life, not just on camera

  • Taking the pressure off so you can actually enjoy your own event

  • Travelling across Scotland (and beyond) for celebrations worth making a fuss over

What I’m all about

Cherry on Pop is intentionally small and hands-on. When you enquire, plan, and book, you’re working directly with me.

I’m involved in every stage of the process, from initial ideas through to setup on the day. That means no handovers, no watered-down vision, and no disconnect between what’s discussed and what actually shows up.

As the business has grown, the work has evolved too. What started with balloons now includes full event styling, faux florals, props, and custom installations, all shaped around the people and spaces they’re created for.

How Cherry on Pop works

Cherry on Pop is a female-led, queer-owned business. I work with couples, families, and clients of all identities, and I care deeply about creating spaces where people feel comfortable being themselves.

Celebrations should feel personal, not performative.
