Our Story
…The founder, designer and creative behind Cherry on Pop.
I’ve always been a bit obsessed with the details. Colour palettes, textures, layouts and how everything comes together to create something that feels completely different.
Before Cherry on Pop, I worked in retail management for brands including Urban Outfitters and Dr. Martens, where I discovered my love for visual merchandising and brand storytelling. Creating eye-catching displays, experimenting with design and bringing a brand’s personality to life were always my favourite parts of the job.
Weddings have a little family history for me, too. Long before I was born, my gran owned a bridal shop where my aunt also worked, creating faux floral arrangements alongside the bridal business.
So while I’ve taken a very different route into the wedding industry, there’s something quite lovely about finding myself following in their footsteps, especially now that faux florals have become such a big part of what I do.
Cherry on Pop started with elaborate children’s parties. What began as creating over-the-top celebrations quickly grew into something much bigger, with clients asking for more creative, ambitious designs.
Today, Cherry on Pop specialises in bespoke wedding and event design, from statement florals and dramatic draping to complete venue transformations.

Whether it’s a wedding, a milestone celebration or a completely unconventional idea, I love working with people who aren’t afraid to do things differently.
Think bold colour palettes, unexpected details, statement installations and designs that feel unmistakably you.
Everything starts with your ideas, your personality and the experience you want to create. From there, we get creative.

Cherry on Pop is an independent, female-led, queer-owned creative business based in South Lanarkshire, Scotland.
When you work with Cherry on Pop, you’re working directly with me. From our first conversation and initial designs through to the final setup, I’m involved in every stage.
I take on a limited number of bespoke projects so I can give each one the attention it deserves, working alongside my trusted team to bring everything together on the day.
Inclusivity is a huge part of what Cherry on Pop stands for. I work with couples, families and clients of all identities, and believe everyone deserves to feel celebrated exactly as they are.
